Incredible Fun at Door 44!

Where else can you celebrate the fun and spirit of the Frozen Tundra for only $15 than at Door 44? On Saturday, February 22 you can be one of hundreds to take part in the tradition of 16th Annual Frozen Tundra Fest. We want to have you be part of a tradition that is the largest outdoor winter wine fest in the Midwest.

It all started 16 years ago with a crazy notion that we should embrace the culture and spirit of the Frozen Tundra by celebrating with a wine event in a place where no one thought wine growing was even possible.

So, what makes this event so unique?

Well Number1, who else would hold an outdoor party in the middle of winter than us soulful fun-loving Wisconsinites?

Number 2 we are celebrating the unexpectedness of this new wine region by highlighting its difference with the vineyards and wines that you will not find in the rest of the wine world.

Number 3 the Frozen Tundra Wine Fest is an incredible value for an afternoon of Wisconsin weather, food, fun, and music from start to finish.

So here are the details of what to expect and how to make sure you can get a ticket.

We are changing things up this year and holding this event for the first time at Door 44, just north of Sturgeon Bay. The event is on Saturday February 22 and runs from 10:00 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The cost of admission is only $15 and you will receive a complimentary logo glass filled with the wine of your choice.

Steve will be giving tours of the vineyard and winery at noon and 1:00 pm. Then at 3:00 p.m. you can participate in games like barrel rolling and a team sled pull. Also, at this party you can enjoy the ice carvings of New Leaf and pet the animals from Haven’s Petting Farm. If you get hungry, you can enjoy tasty BBQ from STEEL BELLY BBQ, and if you feel like dancing you will have the high energy band Farewell Friday keeping you warm out there, no matter what the weather may bring that day. There will also be bonfires to keep you warm.

And last but not least, there will be so many award-winning wines to enjoy. You can taste for yourself why Parallel 44 and Door 44 wines outperformed 99% of the competition at the nation’s largest wine competition this past month at the San Francisco Wine Chronicle Competition.
