BRIANNA
“A glass full of flower petals” will be your first impression of this delicious wine called Brianna. Brianna is the name of the grape and it’s the first time we have used this grape varietal which was grown on the rolling hills of southwest Wisconsin.
Brianna’s intense aromas and flavors originate from its European Muscat parentage and has many sommeliers intrigued by its interesting and unique floral, citrusy, and tropical expressions.
This wine will transport you to a sunny afternoon that starts with a fragrant breeze filled with possibilities and finishes with a refreshing acidity.
PETITE ROSÉ
Grown in the glacier etched soils of Parallel 44’s vineyards, we offer this delicate rose’ wine that is sure to please your palate. Here, Petite Pearl grapes are vinted in a rose’ style, which means they were “pressed off” the skins immediately after picking. This is actually the second vintage of this rose’ wine that you may remember formerly as “Vivace.”
Discover Petite Rose’s crisp expression and notes of tart cherry, watermelon, pomegranate, and lime. The beauty of this wine’s vibrant color is matched by its ability to pair with foods varying from grilled cheese to olives to lighter main entrees.
Steve and Maria recommend this wine as the perfect start to an evening of tasty foods, delicious wines, and lively conversation.
DISCOVER
Discover was crafted exclusively for our Vintner’s Choice Club Members from Marquette grapes grown here in Wisconsin and in the vineyards of Door 44. The wine’s name was inspired by Steve and Maria’s desire for you to “Discover” new flavors from our new wine region.
You may have heard the story of the French Jesuit explorer, Jacques Marquette, who in 1673 explored the Great Lakes and Wisconsin on his way down the Mississippi River. The Marquette grape, quickly becoming the popular grape of the Upper Midwest, was named after his exploratory vision.
Now 450 years later, we invite you to “Discover” the unique expressions of this grape, and enjoy the fact that you are among the first in the world to taste wines crafted from this pleasing and exciting Marquette grape.
